For my final Arts Bachelor project, I fully embraced the concept of hyperfemininity, intersectional beauty, and self-love through a multidisciplinary approach. I was responsible for every aspect of the production, including photography, editing, graphic design, makeup, and overall artistic direction.
This project challenges the traditional male gaze as the dominant lens through which femininity is viewed. By rejecting the notion that femininity is inherently tied to weakness or lacks revolutionary potential, I aimed to reframe how we perceive and celebrate womanhood. The visuals focus on the empowerment of women, particularly those whose identities are shaped by intersecting experiences of race, gender, and sexuality, moving beyond reductive stereotypes.
Through bold, visually striking imagery, I sought to create a space where femininity is not just seen but experienced as a powerful, complex force that redefines beauty standards. I constructed a narrative that uplifts women and celebrates self-expression in all its forms.
